On approaching BOURNEMOUTH on the A338, which is the main road down to Bournemouth from the Ringwood direction (from the east), you will find that as you approach the outskirts of Bournemouth that this road is then called WESSEX WAY until the very end. It is a dual carriageway all the way except for the very last section, which is single carriageway and ends in a very large roundabout, called County Gates Gyratory, which has an office block built in the middle of it called Frizzell House and belongs to the Liverpool Victoria Insurance Group. Take the 3rd exit called The Avenue (NB 1st exit is no entry & is for buses & taxis only) & continue down there to the traffic lights. Turn left into Western Road & continue to very small roundabout where you turn right into Alumhurst Road. Beaulieu Road is then the 5th turning on the left and we are at the very bottom of the road on the left, next to the pedestrian suspension bridge across the chine.
