game
21st August 2004. Exhibition game at Northampton Baloon
Festival. Nene Valley Hybrids Vs. Coventry Jaguars. Scheduled for a 7pm kick
off, the game didn't actually start until 8:15 when various balloons had been
launched from the field. In failing light and floodlights which were darker on
than off, Nene Valley won the toss and received and drove down the field and
scored on their opening drive, the two point conversion was good. On the ensuing
kick off, a Coventry player broke his ankle and, in the gathering gloom, the
game was abandoned after 4 minutes and 10 seconds of
play.
