NFL Regular Season games in UK
In
October 2006, NFL owners voted to play up to 2 games outside of the US
every season for the following 5 seasons. In January 2007, they
announced that the UK would host the only game outside the US starting
that season, and it was soon apparant that that game would be played at
the newly built Wembley Stadium. The two teams chosen to play in this
were to be the NY Giants and the Miami Dolphins, with the Dolphins
giving up one of their home games for that season. Click here for more on the announcement

In January 2008, the NFL announced that another regular season game
would be played in the UK in 2008. In February it was announced that
the game would take place on the 26th October, and the two teams would
be the San Diego Chargers and the New Orleans Saints.
