Leicester Europa Eagles 14-8 Dundee Storm

Leicester Europa Eagles defeated their Scottish counterparts, the Dundee Storm, 14-8 in a flag football game of the highest standard at Leicester, Sunday. Both teams had several international players playing and this led to a evenly matched game with players cancelling each other out of the game.The English went in 8-0 up at the half after   the game had  developed into a midfield battle.The English came out for the second half and shocked Dundee by quickly going into 14-0 lead this led to Dundee coming back into the game with a td from Fraser Thomson and a two point conversion from Kyle Masson.

Dundee then dominated the rest of the game but couldn't get the score they needed.And as in the junior game the clock ran out with Dundee dominating the game.Dundee coach Bruce Foster who had played a starring role in the game could not fault his players in a entertaining quality game of football. Bruce Thomson and Steven Adam won the offensive and defensive awards for this game.
