National Passball Semi-Final

Cannock Chase Giants 27-49 Ealing Eagles

The Eagles scored first through QB Monty Lewin, then Giants QB Dave Shephard found WR Nick Marshall for a 10 yard TD, only to see it wiped out with a second Lewin TD which gave Ealing a 12-6 lead at the end of the 1st quarter. The second quarter saw the Giants intercepted by the Eagles and Mick Lyons ran in the TD. Another Lewin TD and 1 PAT saw the Eagles ahead
25-6 before QB Shepherd again found WR Nick Marshall for a 12 yard TD, and with a 3 point conversion this gave a half-time score of 25-15.

The third quarter was scoreless, and the Giants QB Shepherd ran in a TD from 2 yards out to close the score to 25-21, before the Eagles again scored through Mick Lyons to make the score 21-31. The play of the game without a doubt saw QB Shepherd find WR Nick Marshall for a 12 yard
completion, who then lateralled the ball to RB Andy Mulcock, who ran 10 yards for the TD to close to 27-31. However, the Eagles replied with a further 2 TDs from Lewin and Matthew Narsi to run out winners by a score of 49-27.
