Arguably the greatest player produced by the UK domestic game. Played
for the London Ravens between 1986 and 1989 running for 3,770 yards and
66 TDs, with a spectacular 8.9 yards per carry average. He received the
Budweiser National League's MVP award three times and won four National
Championships with the Ravens. In 1989, as team captain, he led GB to
victory in the European Championships and was named the "European Most
Valuable Player". Also played for the GB Lions in the 1997 European
Championships in Italy.
Victor played six seasons for the London Monarchs,
after attending Harper College in Chicago. He almost broke into the
world of professional American football with the help of the World
League and the Operation Discover program. On 9th
May 1990 he was signed by the New York Jets.
For the
Monarchs he compiled career figures of 116 carries for 416 yards and 4
touchdowns.
Returned to coaching with the London Olympians,
and started playing again in 2006, scoring in the Britbowl XX win over
the London Blitz and also registering a staggering 13 tackles in the
same game.
