Team notes: Very successful in their early years, but success has
eluded them of late. Won College Bowl VI 53-0 against Glasgow Tigers (a record), after not
conceding a point in their 3 playoff games. Also won College Bowl VII 19-0 against Leeds
Celtics. Made playoffs more recently in 2001, but were dumped out of them in the wildcard
game by Birmingham. Also made playoffs in 2003, where they progressed
to the Southern Championship game at the expense of UKC Falcons (30-8) and Cardiff
(30-24). Reached the quarter-finals in 2004.
