Team notes: Won the 1986 Steel Bowl
after starting off in the AAFC. Grew slowly in the AAFC in 1985 and 1986, through to the
Budweiser Premer Division and onto the Crown National crown. Signed Canadian QB Dan Brooks
for the 1990 season, and also signed Coach John Gurga and 13 players from the Lincoln
Bombers who folded. In 1990 reached the NCMMA playoffs after winning the Midland
Conference, but fell to Crawley in the first round. Steel Bowl
was played at their home ground.
