Team notes: One of the BGFL/BNGL’s most successful teams with three bowl appearances. Went all the way in their first season (1987) and finished runners-up in 1988. They won 22 games in a row up until 1989 when they only posted a 4-5-1 record. Reached playoffs again in 1991Were sponsored by Nicks. Folded at the end of the 1991 season, and many of their players joined the Birkenhead Nighthawks, who then changed their name to the Merseyside Nighthawks.
