Team notes: Youth Kitted side reached the BYAFA Final in their first season. Won the Northern Conference ahead of the fancied Lancashire Wolverines, defeated Dundee Storm 8-6 in the semi-final before losing the final to the Southern Sundevils 62-0. Finished 2002 with a 6-4-0 record, just failing to reach the BYAFA English final. But for a final week defeat by Harrogate Hawks they would have reached the final. Steady 2003 season finishing with an even 3-3-0 record.
