Team Notes: Split from the North Herts Raiders in the early days of
Britball. First played under the BAFF banner, then moved to the BAFL and then onto
Budweiser Division One in 1987. Won
the Budweiser League Division One Bowl in 1988 with a 48-34 success against the
Ipswich Cardinals under the guidance of 1988 Coach of the Year Hugh Fuller (former
defensive co-ordinator of the Ealing Eagles). A disappointing 1989 campaign led to coach
Fuller's dismissal.
