Team Notes: Formed as early as 1983 and took part in the first season of 1984. After a disastrous start in 1985 where they went 0-11-0, the team rebounded in 1986 with a perfect record only losing to the Birmingham Bulls 28-14 in the quarter-finals. Made the Budweiser League playoffs in three successive years (1987 to 1989) under the guidance of QB Bo Hickey. Finished with a 1-9-0 record in 1990 and changed their name to the Blackpool Falcons in 1991. Comedian Lennie Bennett was the club president!
