Team Notes: First team in Scotland to play full-contact football without kit, when they won the Thistle League in 1987 with a perfect record. Graduated successsfully to the Budweiser League in 1988, where they made the playoffs in Division One. Made playoffs in the BNGL National league in 1992 and 1993 and also reached SGA Bowl's III and IV. Runners-up to Newcastle in the Glamis Castle Invitational Bowl. Forced to pull out of the league in 1994 due to a player shortage. Had struggled to a 1-4 record before calling it a day. Second year Whalers coach Scott Campbell said, "Our club have been decimated by injuries."
