Team notes: Formed in 1984. Originally going to be called the Basildon Colts, but the Colts name had already been taken by another team and they chose the Braves instead. Held Northants Storm in a draw in 1987 pre-season. Made play-offs once, in 1987, losing to Ealing Eagles 32-0 in the first round. Signed ex London Raven Mark Wynnick in 1991 and he scored on his debut in a 7-6 win over Southend.
