Allstar QB's
Jason Elliot
Started at the
Hackney Barbarians in 1987, and moved onto the London Olympians in 1988 where he
was largely the backup to import QB's. His talent showed through though, and he
was selected as the starting QB for Great Britain in their successful 1989
European Championship. Moved to the London Capitals in 1990 winning two titles,
and in 1991 started in the GB Lions European Championship win. Moved onto the
Kent Mustangs in 1992, taking them to the Division Two Bowl game. Moved to the
Northants Storm in 1993, and then onto the London Rockets in 1994. He left the
sport in the 1995.

Stuart
Franklin
Franklin started for the London O's from the 1996 season, where he led
them to the Division Two title. In 1997, he led the GB Lions to a
thrilling European Championship qualifying win in Madrid with a late
bomb to Mark Cohen that secured a 17-14 win (his first GB cap). In 1999
he moved to the Sussex Thunder where they made the playoffs in two
successive seasons, and following the demise of the Thunder he returned
to the Olympians in 2001 where he played until 2006. In 2007 he joined
the London Blitz where he won a national title, and in 2008 he led the
GB Lions to a friendly win over France (11 years after he first played
for the national team).

Tom
Britton
Britton started at the Brighton B52s Juniors and
Youth Flag team, before joining the London Capitals. He
was a three-year starter for the team, playing at both the quarterback
and free safety positions. He led the team to the national championship
in 1999 and was named the championship MVP. Britton also played four
years for the All-Great Britain national team. Serving as the
team’s captain, the squad won two silver medals at the European
championships. He became the first English youngster to establish
himself at quarterback at College level in the US. Attended
SUNY-Morrisville for two years. While at Morrisville, he was the starting
quarterback and was a second-team all-conference selection in
2001. Moved to Cornell University for his senior year in
2003,
In 2006 Tom Britton used his feet as
much as his arm in the 2006 campaign to lead London Blitz to their first ever
Britbowl appearance
and his return to the US for work left the Blitz with a major hole at this
pivotal position going into the 2007 BAFL Premier campaign.
