Crawley Raiders 14-12 Chiefs, 21st May 1995. Chiefs Tony
Peckham scored to pull the Chiefs to within 2pts, but Shulba Hunt was stopped on
the goal-line as they tried to tie the scores. The Raiders D held on for the

194. Birmingham Bulls 9-21 Leicester Panthers, 3rd August
1992. In a
huge shock, the Panthers defeated the defending champions on their home pitch
thanks to 2 TD passes and one rushing TD from QB Akim Kargbo. The Panthers
picked off Bulls QB Jon English 4 times as the Panthers dominated with 336 yards
of offense in this NDMA Semi-Final. Match

Leicester Panthers, 8th May 1988.
In front of 4,000 fans, Panthers QB Sean Payton passed for 2 TDs as the Panthers
opened up a 16-11 lead, but a clip by Leroy Innes caused a Richard Dunkley game
breaking TD to be called back, and the Panthers held on for victory. Match

Crown Division Semi-Final. The Warriors edged out the Gladiators in this points
fest that had over 700 offensive yards. No match

Manchester Allstars, 14th June
1987. The
Allstars appeared to be cruising in their unbeaten 1987 regular season leading
27-15, but the Falcons scored a late TD to close the scores and then pinned the
Allstars down deep in their half on 3rd and 8, but Allstars QB Rick
Bolen completed a 40 yard pass to ease the pressure and the Allstars hung on.

Kilbride
Pirates 12-15 PA Knights, 18th August
2002. The
Knights travelled to Scotland for this Div.1 semi-final and in a
game of nip and tuck, Jay Cashman broke up a Gary McNey pass to preserve a 13-12
lead after the Pirates opted to attempt to take the lead and a late safety
padded the lead. Anthony Stitt ran for 203 yards on 33 carries. Match

Swansea Dragons, 8th May 1988.
The Tigers defeated their local rivals in front of a Britball record crowd of

200. Redditch Arrows 6-0 Dundee Hurricanes, 3rd September
2006. In a
defensive battle, Dave Mills late 2 yard run gave the Arrows a 6-0 lead, and
they batted down a hailmary pass at the final gun to match into the semi-finals.
