1996. A momentous day for the Panthers
as they won their first national championship in 13 years of trying, in what
turned out to be the last competitive game of the franchise’s history. Tiggy
Bell ran for 85 yards on 24 carries, and
Craig Broughton scored the TD that gave the Panthers the lead. Rex Harrison’s
field goal a slender advantage to the Panthers in a brutal match that they hung

GB Spartans 50-44 Amsterdam Crusaders, FLE,19th June 1994
Victor Ebubedike ran for 215 yards on
30 carries and scored 2 TDs, as the Spartans outscored the Crusaders 43-8
between the 2nd and 3rd quarters! The Spartans cruised out
into a 50-29 lead, and a couple of late TD’s closed the gap in a great display
of offense by both sides. Match

Cardinals, 28th
August 1988. Terry
Lee ran for a final record of 363 yards and 5TD’s, but the Cardinals were still
only adrift by a score with just over 3 minutes to go. Parkin’s interception for
the Phantoms sealed the Budweiser Division One title in this 80 point thriller.

Olympians, 30th
April 1995 Eurobowl.
Leroy Innis’s 17 yard TD catch on 4th and 16 gave the Olympians a 7-6
lead, but the Bulls took a 13-7 lead on Rigg’s bomb late in the first half.
Dunkley gave the Olympians the win with the go-ahead score in the 3rd
quarter, and despite Colin Nash’s late interception for the Bulls, the O’s hung

Final. Estrus Crayton (formerly of the University of Southern California) scored
2 TDs and then intercepted Leonard Valentine’s hail mary pass in the final
seconds as the Olympians were thwarted in their attempt to win a Eurobowl three
peat. Richard Dunkley ran for 117 yards and was named MVP. Match
