Anthony Stitt ran for 179 yards and
a TD as the Thunder reached their first British final with a tight victory.
Thunder led 13-12 at half-time, and second half TDs from Stitt and Ashby gave
them a 26-12 lead. Late Bulls TDs from Hashim and Cohen closed the gap but the
Thunder held on.

In this semi-final, the lead changed
hands three times, with the Aztecs clinching the win inside the last three
minutes on QB Kevin Lupton’s 26 yard TD
pass to Clayton Best. The Knights had a last gasp attempt to win the game, but
after a 60 yard drive they fumbled and lost possession. Match

Jon Williams scored a hat-trick
of receiving TDs including a 91yarder as the Seminoles built up a 29-12 lead.
Bristol pulled the scores to 35-30, and
got the ball back in the dying minutes, but the Seminoles D held firm to

Sundevils, 2006. Sundevils leaped out to
an early 14-0, and held a lead of 21-10 in the third quarter. Blitz narrowed the
gap with a score, but a Sundevils field goal opened a 24-16 lead in the third
quarter. The Blitz closed to 24-22, and Tom Britton’s 2 PAT leveled the scores.
An inspired Blitz march downfield, and with 2 minutes remaining Duncan Aldous
kicked the game winning 31 yard field goal. Match
