NFL Regular Season games in UK
In October 2006, NFL owners voted to play up to 2 games outside of the US every season for the following 5 seasons. In January 2007, they announced that the UK would host the only game outside the US starting that season, and it was soon apparant that that game would be played at the newly built Wembley Stadium. The two teams chosen to play in this were to be the NY Giants and the Miami Dolphins, with the Dolphins giving up one of their home games for that season.
