Paul – Year of induction: 2006
Years
played: 1988-1992
Clubs:
Manchester Spartans (88-90), Birmingham Bulls (91-92)

Bailey's
britball career was short and explosive. Spanning just 5
seasons, he stormed to over 1,000 yards in each of
his first four seasons. He rushed for over 5,000 career yards and over
60 TDs. He also picked up national titles in 1989 and 1990 with
the Manchester Spartans, before moving to the
Birmingham Bulls where he picked up another national title in 1991.
Won the Eurobowl title in 1990 with the Spartans, and also
with a GB Lions regular between 1989 and 1991 winning two European
titles. Missed out on the World League of American Football in 1991,
which was a tragedy for such a talent. Went onto play the remainder of
his career in Spain after leaving the UK.
