Clifton Stroughter played for a single season, in 1986 and destroyed the opposition with his powerful running. The University of Illinois product ran for an amazing 3,104 yards and a stunning 51 TDs. No running back has even got close to those numbers, and none is ever likely to. His Nottingham Hoods team, that he also coached that season, were eventually stopped by the Birmingham Bulls in the playoffs.
